Denver Man Charged with Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography

Jon Christopher Baker, age 32, of Denver, Colorado, was charged by criminal complaint yesterday with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography U.S. Attorney John Walsh and FBI Denver Field Division Special Agent in Charge James Yacone announced. Baker made his initial appearance yesterday, where he was advised of the charges pending against him, and the penalties associated with those charges. He is due back in court on Thursday, May 3, 2012, for a preliminary hearing and detention hearing.

Attorney General announces consent decree barring Denver company from operating consumer-restitution

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers announced today that his office has reached an agreement with Denver-based RMI Associates and its principals, Russell Bryant III and Damon Smith, that bars them from engaging in any operation that offers to help consumers receive restitution or conducts any form of consumer advocacy. The consent decree also requires that RMI Associates, which also did business under the names recovermyinvestment and Daily Deal 360, Inc., pay the state $300,000 in restitution and fines.

Police need help tracking down robbery suspect

Denver Police Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect who may be involved in several burglaries’ including auto theft in South Denver and Arapahoe County areas.  The suspect is identified as Rory Dale Crosley, A.K.A Pony Boy (D.O.B 01/13/1980). He is described as a white male, 6’2, 180-200lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, and has tattoos on his back, forearm, shoulders, and chest. He is known to steal vehicles out of open garages; he is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Raylon Hamilton turned himself into Denver Police today without incident. Denver Police have identified the other man who was sought in connection with this incident. Denver Police will continue their investigation and present their finding to the District attorney for review.
