Small Smiles offers free dental screenings for children | Events

Small Smiles Dental Centers will offer free dental screenings during “Healthy Smile, Happy Child Day” on February 14, 2012, at their locations at 1400 Grove Street in Denver, 550 E. Thornton Parkway in Thornton, 14251 E. 6th Avenue in Aurora, and 2400 West 16th Street in Greeley. The free screenings will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and are part of an effort to promote healthy smiles during Children’s Dental Health Month in February.

“An estimated one in five children go without dental care each year,” said Dr. Jodi Kuhn, a Lead Dentist at Small Smiles. “At Small Smiles that is one too many.  With tooth decay being the single most common childhood disease, five times more common than asthma, we need to ensure that all children have access to quality dental care.  We want to invite children and parents to participate in our free dental screenings to combat dental health problems and help keep their smiles healthy and happy for years to come.”
