Denver Water’s pipes are getting a facelift. The utility’s pipe rehabilitation program, which involves cleaning old, unlined cast-iron water mains and lining them with a cement mortar lining, may be coming to a neighborhood near you.

Join us for the 2012 Bellco Colfax 5K on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The event takes place in Denver’s City Park, and kicks off the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon weekend with a race for everyone- with a start and finish at the official Marathon Start and Finish Line. 85% of uninsured coloradans cite cost as the reason for not buying health insurance

Affordability is the primary reason that uninsured Coloradans did not buy health insurance, according to the 2011 Colorado Health Access Survey (CHAS). Released today, The Affordability of Health Insurance in Colorado issue brief examines in-depth why Coloradans are uninsured, including their ability and willingness to pay for health insurance, how much they believe they can afford and what they now pay for out-of-pocket expenses. The brief also addresses the consequences of being uninsured in Colorado.
