DU to host panel discussion on impact of social media in 2012 presidential campaign

The University of Denver (DU) will host a panel of political and media experts at its New Media Influence on Campaign Politics event to be held 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 11. Panelist will discuss the impact and implications of new media on the 2012 presidential campaign.   

Wash Park running trail improvements plan finalized

After extensive community input, Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) announces the finalized trail improvement plan for the north side of Washington Park. The final plan addresses several factors including safety issues, maintenance concerns and overall park stewardship. DPR is presenting the final plan to the Washington Park neighbors tonight at 6:00 pm at Steele Elementary just a few blocks away from the park.

RTD offers RockiesRide bus service for all the Rockies weekend home games

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) offers RockiesRide to all weekend games and the following weekday games: Monday, April 9, (Opening Day), Monday, May 28, (Memorial Day - 6:10 p.m. game only), and annual fireworks games on Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30.   RockiesRide express bus service will get fans to Coors Field 30-60 minutes before the first pitch.
